By | Dec 22, 2010

A little over 2 years ago on the 45th Anniversary of the crash of Pan Am Flight 214 outside of the small Maryland community of Elkton, 6 Things to Considered published 6 paragraphs about the accident.

There has been a number of comments on the post, a few by people who were directly impacted by the accident including family and friends of some of those who died on that terrible night.

Also a Cecil County volunteer at the Cecil County Historical Society wrote an article on the crash. It can be viewed at: http://cecilcounty.wordpress.com/2010/02/16/pan-american-airways-crash-worst-disaster-in-cecil-county-history/

We just put up an interview with the first emergency responder to arrive on the scene of the plane crash that terrible night. It was Lt Don Hash (retired) Maryland State police, who a rook at the time. He described being on routine patrol when a large bolt of lighting jolted the area and then he saw the plane.
