In Great Britain as well as the British Colonies 1752 only had 354 days. It was in this year that 11 days were dropped to bring the Calendar into balance.

It may have be known as the 100 year war, but it lasted from 1337 to 1453, 116 years.

The only amendment to the United States Constitution to have been fully repealed was the 18th Amendment, which prohibited the manufacture and sale of alcohol. The 21st completely repealed it.

Vermont was the first State to be added to the Original 13, even though it had acted as an independent state during the entire time of the American Revolution and up until 1791 when it was accepted as a member of the United States.
